To assist with manual cataloguing, Infiniti creates a virtual "title authority" file to help maintain title integrity. If your virtual title authority file includes unused titles or incorrect near-duplicate titles you can use this tool to clean it up.
Go to: Authorities > Library > Titles
Correct Authorities Individually
- Type word/s in the titles you want to find.
- list any titles containing the word/s. Note: All matching currently used and non-used titles will be listed.- Relevance - adjust as required.
- correct this title.
- merge this title with another.
- delete unwanted title.
Correct Authorities In Bulk
- allow Infiniti to merge duplicate titles.
- allow Infiniti to delete unused titles.
