You can prepare a range of reports in Infiniti that snapshot segments of your catalogue, parts of your collection, activity in your circulation, results of stocktake, and summaries of acquisitions. Once prepared, reports can be displayed, printed, and downloaded or exported in a number of different formats. Filters are used to prepare most reports and many can be saved as a "favourite" report, allowing you to create a library of favourite reports that you can run in the future as required with just one click.


Note:  Reports with up to 1,000 records will be processed immediately, while reports with more than 1,000 records will be scheduled automatically and available in Settings> Tasks > Completed.


Overview of Reporting


Infiniti Reports are based on applying filters to your data. This allows you to review the displayed results of a report on your monitor or device and add of remove filters to tailor it to you specific requirements at the time.


The filters available for different types of reports, e.g., catalogue report, collection reports, circulation reports, etc, are relevant to each type of report. Some filters are unique to specific report types and some filters overlap with other report types.


Once a report displays records or data that matches your requirements you may be able to:


Access Reports


Many reports are available from and can be directly accessed using icons or links located within various relevant modules, e.g., circulation, cataloguing, and stocktake while others can be accessed only from within the Report Module. Reports run from within modules often automatically navigate or redirect to the Reports Module.


Reports Module

  1. Go to Reports and choose to report on:
    1. Borrower - activity about a specific borrower
    2. Resource - activity for a specific resource item
    3. Circulation - circulation activity and statistics
    4. Cataloguing - catalogue and collection records
    5. Acquisitions - orders  and budgeting
    6. Users - import, export, and user logs
