Infiniti has a comprehensive, built-in system for auto-sending emails to patrons, parents, guardians, teachers, and suppliers based around triggering events or communication scenarios. Each communication scenario is associated with one or more email templates containing editable messages and information to support that communication scenario. Email templates, containing messages drafted by library management, are sent to one or more possible communication contacts. Default templates containing default messages can be used, or you can copy and customize templates to meet your library's requirements.

Managing Scenario Templates
Templates are dynamic and can be customised by you to meet your unique messaging requirements. As well as allowing you to send email messages manually, you can configure Infiniti to automatically send up to four different email messages (sometimes referred to as severity level email messages) for overdue loans based around rules you set for your library.
Managing Communication Contacts
Each patron can have one or more contacts who able to receive communications sent from Infiniti. Contacts are assigned to each patron as required. Show me where to set up email contacts.
Managing Bounced Emails
Invalid email messages will bounce. This could also have happened in a vacation if the auto overdue emailer was left on and email addresses were not active for some reason.
Most bounces are caused because the contact (recipient) email address is invalid or not yet activated, i.e., it does not exist or the recipient flagged a validly received email as spam. If an email bounces it will be blacklisted on Amazon. Bounced email addresses are added to an Amazon SES blacklist and Infiniti receives an updated blacklist from Amazon daily. Infiniti will not send email to a blacklisted contact.
We recommend library managers regularly review the quality of their contacts mailing list. Replacing a contact's invalid email address with a valid email address, or one not blocked by the recipient's spam setting, will result in the recipient receiving communication as normal.
