You can align your library reading collection to supported reading schemes. Infiniti provides simultaneous support for three reading schemes. Each book in your catalogue can be tagged with reading levels applicable to respective supported schemes.


Check with your reading scheme vendor for their requirements. If the alignment requires a CSV file follow the instructions below and deliver the resulting CSV file to the vendor for processing. 


Export CSV File


Go to: Reports > Catalogue > Bibliographic Records

  1. Choose the filters necessary for locate the bibliographic records you require:
    1. Show me - choose a date range if appropriate.
    2. and With - choose appropriate filters for the report
    3. and From - choose appropriate filters for the report
  2. The report will show the number of bibliographic records found.
  3. If the number of records is less than 1,000:
    1. Exportthe records.
    2. Download as CSV.
    3. Navigate to a suitable location on your local computer.
    4. Provide a suitably descriptive name for the file.
    5. Save the file to your computer.
    6. - save a favourite search if you need to run this report on a periodic basis.
  4. If the number of records is 1,000 or more:
    1. Exportthe records.
    2. Schedule for Pickup as CSV.
    3. Provide a suitably descriptive name for the file.
    4. - save a favourite search if you need to run this report on a periodic basis.

  5. The scheduled task will be moved to Settings Cog> System Settings > Tasks for overnight processing and will be ready for collection next morning.


Note: The CSV file will likely contain more columns than required by your reading scheme vendor (usually only ISBN, Title, Author are required). The CSV file can be opened in Excel, all extraneous columns deleted, and saved.

The reading scheme that you intend to use must be enabled within Infiniti before you can tag books with reading levels and interest/age levels.
